Refund and Returns Policy



Unfortunately, Lil Keepsakes by Shirls does not accept refunds or exchanges for change of mind purchases or for incorrect choices due to failure to read detailed product descriptions. We provide all information needed to make an informed decision as to whether the product being sold is suited to your needs.

Please note, it is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure that the correct colour/size/length combination is chosen, within each product listing. WE WILL NOT be held responsible for incorrect choices.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Sale Items
  • Clearance Items
  • Items that have been worn and/or used
  • Custom made, personalised, or altered products

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 14 days after purchase.



We use tracked shipping so that we can see the progress of your delivery. Therefore, we do not offer refunds on purchases marked as delivered by the postal company. 

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged.


Due to our products being handmade, Lil Keepsakes by Shirls does not accept refunds or exchanges.


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Late delivery

We do not offer any refunds for orders that arrive late or not when you expected them. We have stated clearly on the order confirmation email that our processing time is approx 1 to 5 business days and during holiday periods this can be extended up to 2 weeks. The processing time DOES NOT include weekends, public holidays or the Christmas week break. We can not be held responsible for postal delays or items not arriving on time for BIRTHDAYS or CHRISTMAS for obvious reasons.
